Effective 10 October 2026
Terms of use
These terms describe InfiQuant backup (rclone), operated by Hardik Desai for private InfiQuant backup and restore work.
Private, authorized use
The utility is for the operator and expressly authorized administrators. It is not offered as a public backup service. Only files and Google accounts the operator is entitled to manage may be used. Google authorization does not grant ownership of third-party data.
Access and credentials
Authorized administrators must protect OAuth credentials and encryption keys, keep backup destinations within the agreed scope and preserve unrelated files. Google access can be revoked at any time. Revocation may interrupt transfers and scheduled backups.
Backup and recovery limits
A successful upload is not a guarantee of complete disaster recovery. Backup coverage, retention, encryption-key recovery and restoration must be verified separately. Connectivity, quotas, authorization expiry, device failure and software errors may interrupt operations. Existing backups should not be deleted solely because a new transfer completed.
Software and third-party services
The utility uses rclone and Google Drive; their applicable software licences and service terms continue to apply. This utility is not endorsed by Google or by the rclone project.
Availability and changes
The tool is provided for private operational use without a promised service level or guaranteed recovery outcome. The operator may modify or stop it. These terms do not limit rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
